Aliki Chrysochou is a singer who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 7 of Britain’s Got Talent. She was aged twenty nine at the time of her audition. She had seemed to have recently overcome Vocal and FL itis which was an inflammation of the brain which prevented her from doing several things for many years, as to which she contracted after finishing her first year of University.

In her audition she sang to ‘Bring Me To Life’ by Evanescence. Alesha commented her belief as to how Aliki was ‘inspiring so many people’, adding how she was ‘so glad that [Aliki auditioned that day].’ Simon added his belief that there was ‘something about [Aliki’s] energy’ which he saw as incredible.

In the Semi-Finals she sang ‘Come What May’ from the Moulin Rouge by Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. Amanda remarked ‘I have to say that this is one hundred times better than your audition which was actually fantastic [and] you seem to have blossomed over the weeks and become more self-confient’, with David adding ‘You are like an angel sent from heaven, you are perfect [and] your voice is fantastic’.
