Linda Mudzenda’s BREATHTAKING voice will stop you in your tracks! | BGTeaser | BGT 2025

Linda Mudzenda is a singer who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 18 of Britain’s Got Talent. She was aged 21 at the time of her audition and worked as a support worker for children with learning difficulties. She hailed from Zimbabwe, however was residing in Bedford at the time of her audition.

In her audition, Mudzenda performed a rendition of ‘You Say’ by Lauren Daigle. Amanda remarked ‘It’s extraordinary to think how nervous you were and then you come out and deliver a song like that, I just don’t know where you found that’, with Alesha adding ‘I think it’s the first time today that I’ve sat through an audition and my heart was just like racing out of my chest’, before pressing her Golden Buzzer sending Mudzenda directly onto the Semi-Finals.

In the Semi-Finals, Mudzenda performed a rendition of ‘Who I Am’ by Wyn Starks. Bruno remarked ‘It means a lot to a lot of people this song [and] you really conveyed that’, with Simon adding ‘It was very emotional, it was powerful, it was beautiful and it was like I said, that’s what a real singer sounds like’. She reached the Top 3 in the Public Vote and placed 2nd, above Eden Choi but below Vinnie McKee.
