Finley Barrett-Carter is a singer who auditioned for Series 19 of Britain’s Got Talent. He was aged 20 and was a student at the time of his audition. He hailed from York and busked on a weekly basis. When asked what he would do with the money if he won, Barrett-Carter responded ‘I’m going to give half of it to my mum and dad [as] their the reason I’m here today [and] they’ve put a lot of sacrifices in for me’.
In his audition, Barrett-Carter performed a rendition of ‘Burning Love’ by Elvis Presley. KSI remarked ‘Where did that come from? That is not what I was expecting, I loved that [and] that was amazing’, with Amanda adding ‘It was like an aerobic workout as well’. He advanced onto the following round, however he failed to reach the Semi-Finals.
