Dylan B is a singer who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 16 of Britain’s Got Talent. He was aged 12, was a schoolboy and hailed from London at the time of his audition.
When asked what inspired him to start singing, he stated he’d been singing alongside his sisters ever since he were young. When asked what he’d do with the prize money if he won, he responded that he’d use some in order to go to Disneyland in America and set some aside for albums when he were older.
In his audition, he performed a rendition of ‘Listen’ by Beyoncé. Alesha remarked ‘Your technique is off the scale [and] it was phenomenal’, with Simon adding ‘You picked up one of the most iconic, most difficult songs to sing as your first audition, it wasn’t perfect but no auditions and I think it says a lot about you’.
In his Semi-Final, he performed ‘Don’t You Worry ’Bout a Thing’ by Tori Kelly. Amanda remarked ‘You really owned the stage, you’ve got great showmanship’, with Simon adding ‘I heard a few notes off key, but then I thought you did not play it safe … one of my favourite performances of tonight’.
